So, what else is new?

Guess I haven't had many thoughts for a while after all. Enjoyed last week's proceedings in the States. It's nice to see something other than doom, gloom and paranoid fear.
On the home front - we're still in deep freeze. I've been trying to go out and take some awesome pictures but there are two problems - it's too cold and there are no awesome sights around here. Unless snow and ice is it. Or maybe one has to venture into the bush but I have some concerns about lynx, wolves and other hungry critters. Here's a picture of a float plane grounded because of ice on the Burntwood River. Looks lonesome and forlorn on a grey, cold day. As you can see I've been having some fun exploring masks, layers and other such stuff.
Hard to believe that today is only one month since Christmas. Seems like it all happened so long ago. Everything has settled into the same old routine but spring is on its way. Eventually.
